Infinity Mirror Sofa Table by Clement
Segmented Vases by Benjamin
These two projects are my first and third segmented vases. I’m a 17 year old woodworker from England and I’ve been woodworking for about two years now.
I got my first wood lathe from my parents at Christmas and I’ve been doing a fair amount of turning on it since.
This is my first segmented and turned vase. It’s made from Sapele, Iroko, Beech and Walnut.
This is my third segmented and turned vase. It’s made from Beech, Figured Alder, Maple and Iroko.
All of the wood used here are either from scraps or offcuts that I’ve sourced from School or a local Hardwood bathroom maker.
I’m quite happy with these projects as I really enjoy designing the different patterns and additionally I study maths at college so that really helps with the angles and geometry.
