How I Dovetail a Drawer

In this video I share an in depth look at my typical technique for dovetailing a drawer. My drawers are joined with half-blind dovetails in the front and through dovetails in the back. My technique tends to vary depending on my mood and the size of the work pieces but this is my go to technique.

  1. Hi Matt
I really enjoyed your video on how you dovetail, nice job. I admire your skill set, especially since you haven’t done this that many years. Your a natural, keep up the great work my friend.

  2. Great video! Great shop! I just found your site and think it’s fantastic. After finally getting to hanging the rest of the drywall in one portion of my studio/shop I noticed how much brighter the space was. I would paint those foam panels on your door and enjoy the free light!
