I have a small Turkey call business and these are the types I make. The slate over glass cedar call has all hand crafted work in to it. No CNBC routers or laser engraver. The same with the box call.

Tree Ring Timeline by Dustin

I’m a project manager for general contractor and we recently completed a new school project. That required removal of a large 44″ white oak, which I sent to a local sawmill and had it sawed into 3000BF of 8/4 lumber. I cut a cookie off the end of the log and used it to make this “tree ring timeline” wall art for the school as a gift. The tree was 113 years old and dates back to 1905, so there are some pretty cool historical events outlined on the rings. The case and trim was also made from lumber that came from the tree. I finished it with three coats of GF Arm-R-Seal satin.

Fishing Net by Sean

I always wanted to do an epoxy river project but tables were just a little too big in scale for me. I have a friend who mentioned his interest in a fishing net and decided to try doing epoxy casting on a fishing net handle. Catch is he said he wants it plain looking so the joke is if its too busy, I will have to paint the handle black LOL.

Sofa End Table by Cam

I wanted to make a sofa end table that took up a minimal footprint in our living room and one that had a compelling design. I decided that making it cantilevered solved both of those goals. I made the entire table out of walnut offcuts from a local door manufacturer and screwed in 1/4 inch steel plate as a counterweight under the couch. The legs were cut out using a template and a router and I used biscuits for the joinery. For anyone wondering, the table is very solid up to 12 pounds.
