Epoxy River Desk by Al

This desk is a highly eclectic combination from several sources: the filing cabinet bases are from a Woodsmith plan (https://www.woodsmithplans.com/plan/modular-file-cabinets/), drawer pulls from Matthew Morris nightstand project (http://www.mmwoodstudio.com/online-classes/modern-nightstand/) and, of course,  your fantastic guild project (waterfall tables).  The base is made from walnut and walnut plywood, the drawer fronts are ambrosia maple and the top is bocote with walnut breadboard ends with the blue river joining the 2 bocote slabs.  Not perfect, by a long shot, but I was pleased with my first epoxy project!

Schoolhouse Desk by Dan

I’ve made a tradition out of making my kids gifts for birthdays and Christmas every year. This year for Christmas I made her an old style schoolhouse desk.  The desktop is made from spalted red oak and back rest is made from western red cedar.  I used mortise and tenon joinery.  There was a perfectly placed knot hole that holds her diresta pencil perfectly.

Cupcake Stands by Mike

This is a couple of simple cookie cut/ cupcakes stands I did for my Daughters wedding (among a number of other things).

Blanket Chest by Steve

This blanket chest was made for a fundraising auction for the Children’s Advocacy Center. ( an organization who assists with interviewing children who are victims for police and cps) I’m a Police Detective who handles sex crimes.
The chest is made of Cherry with some figure and inclusion. the bottom is red cedar and the case is lined with raw aromatic cedar.  The top has a breadboard edge and the case is raised panel and frame construction.  My first time using the Arm-R-Seal and I love it so thanks for that tip.
