I spent a few days last week in Houston. Big thanks to the Woodworkers Club of Houston for inviting me to speak at their event. I continued filming the highboy project in the shop and spent some time using the mill.
Thank you to the Woodworkers Club of Houston for inviting me to speak at their seminar. I presented 6 sessions on various topics and had a great time while I was there. Thank you to everyone who attended the program!

Nightstand by Ethan
I’ve been woodworking for 3 years now. I was inspired by your bow tie how to video that made me make this nightstand. Its made from walnut and cherry and all the wood was the off cuts that my local hardwood dealer threw out. I picked them up at no cost and made what I could with what they considered, junk.

River Coffee Table by Matt
Here is my “river” coffee table. I picked the cedar slab up the day that it was cut and slowly worked on it over the past 3 months. It is 48″L x 21 1/2″W x 16 1/2″H, with a 2″ thick beveled top. The tapered legs are splayed 10 deg in both directions and are mortised into maple cleats. The glass is tempered 1/4″ PPG Azuria and all of the voids are filled with black-tinted epoxy. Arm-R-Seal Satin for finish.
Have you figured out the puzzle yet?
Nope. And neither has our nanny lol!
