Drunken Cutting Board by Alex

I saw this drunken cutting board made on Peter Brown YouTube channel. I showed it to my wife and she said she would like one. So I made one for her.

The cutting boards are made of maple and walnut they are 14”x10”x1”thick. I used mineral spirits to finish them. You do end up with two so I will give one way.

Card Box by Joe

I picked up the wood for the project, a character-filled quarter sawn oak board, from my local Habitat Restore. Not knowing what to do with it, my brother asked me to make a card box for his wedding. For my first box, I think it turned out well, using West Systems epoxy for the first time to fill some voids, cutting my first box joints, etc. The box is sanded up to 400 grit, finished with two coats of Arm R Seal Satin, with a final coat of semi-gloss.

Wooden Boat by Nicklas

Here is some pictures of the second wooden boat i built as a second year project at Stensunds folkhögskola in Sweden. I Made it all by my self over about 7 months.
The rope is handmade by me. As well as the sail. It took about a week to sow the sail.
It is built using very old traditional Scandinavian techniques, not built on frames but with stakes pushing out the planking from the roof. And finding the different angels using  a plumb bob on a piece of wood.
Now i am working as an apprentice working on repairing wooden boats. Everything from Sailing yachts and motor yachts to small rowing boats. At the time being im building a new rowing boat for a customer.

Sliding Barn Door with a Modern Twist by Bruce

It is a really simple design, but has a different look than a lot of barn doors I’ve seen out there. It has a modern twist, but won’t break the bank. This entire project was about $200, which is really cheap for a sliding barn door.
