I was out sick for a few days this week but Dema from Dimkas Woodworx stopped by the shop to work on his new work bench. When I wasn’t sick, I was working on the secretary desk doors. I got them rough assembled and just have to do some detail work on them now. Following up on my hand plane video, I talk more about my cheap hand plane and my attempts to get it to perform better.
I answer the following questions this week:
Who is the secretary desk for?
How many dings do you have in the desk?
What does box elder look like?
How do you identify trees?
To start things off, I’ll make the panel which will become the sides and top. While that’s sitting in the clamps, I’ll prep the material
